A. - Since you didn't clarify which field of engineering or the level (under graduate or graduate) you are you are looking at here is the best that I provide. From the last information that I University of North Dakota college offers both under grad and grad degrees in engineering that are ABET accredited. The University of Houston also offers some distance courses in industrial, electrical, and mechanical engineering also at both the under grad and grad level. U of H web address is www.UH.EDU. They have four campuses the ones to look at are the central campus and the clear lake campus. The clear campus is designed to serve the Johnson Space Center. All of their courses are also ABET accredited. For graduate level there are several George Washington, Rennasler Polytechnic, Penn State, U of Michigan. There are far resources for post grad work than there are for under grad. - Among the important facts you omitted was you location: you failed to mention which "nation" you are referring to. If your an American -- howdy brother! -- you should keep in mind the following: Nationally Accredited distance learning in the USA means accredited by the DETC (www.detc.org). Few regionally accredited schools will accept DETC accredited course work. Although it sounds less spiffy than "Nationally Accredited", "Regionally Accredited" is what you presumably want. Distance degree programs in engineering fields are quite rare, but some of the individual courses that an engineering -- or any other -- degree would require are available by distance. You would probably do well to consult with your school to see what/if/from where they will accept course work. A glance at the book "The Bears' Guide to Distance Education" wouldn't hurt either.
