Online Driving Course ?
Q. I would really appreciate info on procedure of applying for and going through a driving school to get my speeding ticket dismissed (got it just outside of Vegas, Clark county, Moapa). I am in Colorado, but as I understand, I can go through an online class. My wife called the number on the ticket today, and they were not very helpful. If anyone has gone through it, or knows a web site with decent instructions (e.g., which format should the letter be sent in, etc.).
A. We were asked to submit a bid a few months ago to create an online driving course like you descibe. The bid request was structured in such a way that led me to believe the agency (can't remember if it was city or county) had already chosen a vendor and was just going through the motions of accepting other bids to reject. This was recent enough that I doubt it would have been fully implemented by now. Here is a link to at least one online driving course, but they do require you to show up in person for the final.
