Online Computer Courses ?

Q. The Army has made a deal with CBT systems to allow all active, reserve and guard members to access there online courses free. I have been taking the courses for a few months now and they are great. There are courses designed for beginners to advanced programming and network topics as well. Your account has to be activated from a .MIL address first to set up your account but after that you can access it from any computer with your account and a CBTPlayerto run the courses. It's like a 3meg download. The link is below. Contact your S-1 PAC and if they dont know about it contact the administrator from their site at Ft. Belvoir, Va. Thought you might like it.

A. Yes, I agree, these courses are GREAT...I took them on my home computer when I was assigned to NSA...and like the Army, we had to get our initial login at work, but could take the courses at home. I continued to use this well after I retired (either we were allowed or they just didn't cut off my access), but I had forgotten my password recently and couldn't get access to a work computer (obviously) to get a new one. Glad to see that it just takes a trip out to an Army base and have it redone. But...question is...does anyone know if this is just an agreement with the Army, OR has the Air Force (at least) made a similar agreement?
