Q. You know how the drivers in certain cities are known for their inability to drive properly (e.g., LA, NYC, Boston)? Most times, it revolves around dangerous and reckless driving, racing to and fro (complete with hand gestures and curses), etc. I've lived in Columbus, Ohio for three months now (how time flies!) and I've come to a shocking conclusion: All drivers in the entire state of Ohio are blond.
A. There seems to be a bit of confusion about what I meant in my original post (kept intact above). In the major cities that I listed, I've encountered "dangerous and reckless driving", etc., etc. When I say that all Ohio drivers are "blond", I mean the opposite .. sort of. Dumb and stupid moves/counter-moves are the Standing Order of the Day in this state (not just in the city of Columbus...in the countryside, as well). This is NOT a slam on people who have blond hair ... I'm using a euphenism. I've received quite a bit of email from folks (lurkers and posters) who think I meant "crazy" driving ... not so. There's a biiiiiiig difference between "crazy" and "dumb and stupid".
