Q. My wife (who is a foreigner) would like to further her education in our beloved country by obtaining a GED here in Huntsville, then moving on to college. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get her into some classes?

A. Call 428-7832 for Adult Continuing Education. They will match your wife with a volunteer. It used to be headquartered on Holmes Ave.(may still be) I once had the pleasure of assisting a woman from S. Korea succeed in getting her GED through that program.
