Free Ged ProgramQ. I am interesting to get G.E.D. to do a further study in undergrad in USA, I found this site: http://www.belfordhighschool.com/index.asp I'm not sure that they are diploma mill or not, so could you pls kindly tell me... Also, is there any website that I can check that the accredited school for GED? and lastly, if I ordered from this site, can I use this certificate to apply to University in USA? A. All you have to do for a GED is pass a test. You don't need any formal "credits" and some places (including "around here") volunteers help out applicants with free help in learning their lessons. You best first stop might be to go to a good sized book store and look at (but not buy) a book or two on the GED. That will let you know what to expect. The next step might be to go to the public library so see what FREE help is available. Some/many community colleges will let you take courses that can be used for credit for an associate degree even if you don't have a HS diploma. If you spend money (aside from testing fees) then taking "dual track" (HS and college) courses is a good way to go. Unless you are really, really behind don't waste money taking HS only credits unless its a nominal fee charge by the local school system. The public TV stations often broadcast GED help programs in the middle of the night. Remember, once you are in a college degree program it usually doesn't matter whether you have a HS diploma (or, sometimes, even a GED.) Community colleges are used to working with adults who dropped out of HS. These kids are a good part of their business (and it is a business).
