Q. I'd like to create online training instructions for new auditors. Using PowerPoint or Word. I want to use pictures, company logo, etc. Ideally, without me having to verbally report instructions for every new auditor I would like to have them click on a presentation and be given instructional material. Has any one done this or is there a class or online training forme to learn how to set this up?
A. -When you say "on line" do you mean some thing that runs in the browser or something they will download? -Only with powerpoint and word, you can not set up online training for content created by PowerPoint and word is usually regarded as static text. For a successful online traning, the content should be interactive and engaging. My suggestions for you is to turn to some PowerPoint-based E-learing tools. Such kind of tools are for online learing and distance learing. Usually, these tools turn powerpoint to flash content and embed the flash file in a theme-based player template.You can customize the tempate to meet your exact traing requirement , for example adding author info. logo, picture, notes, narrations, notes and button and label customization. With this player, learner can stop/replay/skip/ the learning content. These also offers content management and learing progress management. For leaning progress management, it is conducted with a quiz. You can also use some stimulation tools to add activities to the learning content to enhanced learning.
