online correspondence courses ?
Q. At one time I saw a site that had a list of correspondence courses. Does anyone know if I can order them off the web and if so where the site is or is the only way to go thru my unit.
A. This is the web site I use to sign up for a class, send in the answers, and check on the status of books being sent to me. All you need is a social security number and if you have ever dealt with the Army Correspondence Course system, you'll be in there. I am looking for good courses on studying antiques that I can take by correspondence or online. If you know of any or if you have any references/links to websites where they are or might be discussed, I would greatly appreciate your input. The only correspondence course I've run across is the Asheford Institute of Antiques, which advertises in most of the trade publications. As to whether or not it's "good", I have no idea. (I think I posted a request for comments from anyone who had taken the course, and no one responded.)
